France's Android Scene: Top Film & Television Apps in Q2 2024

Sensor Tower's latest data reveals the performance of the Film & Television category's top applications on the Android platform in France for Q2 2024.

TF1+ : Streaming, TV en Direct saw its revenue starting at around $58K and ending the quarter with $40K, indicating a downward trend. Downloads peaked in the last week of June at approximately 51K while weekly active users showed an impressive climb, ending at over 545K.

Amazon Prime Video experienced its revenue fluctuating, with a peak near $324K and a dip to around $84K in late May, but concluded the quarter with a stable $189K. The app maintained a steady download rate, closing at about 26K, and active users remained high, though slightly decreasing to 910K.

Disney+ showed a mid-quarter revenue spike at $671K, but generally followed a slight downward trend to end at $375K. Downloads remained fairly consistent, ending the quarter at just over 24K, while weekly active users saw a gradual decrease to 1.17M.

france•tv : direct et replay, with no revenue reported, had a notable increase in downloads towards the end of May, reaching nearly 50K. Weekly active users saw a significant rise in late May, hitting 186K, but ended the quarter with 135K.

Netflix, also with no revenue reported, showed a steady trend in downloads, concluding with over 26K. The weekly active users for Netflix started strong at 3.66M, but experienced a slight decline, finishing the quarter at 3.53M.
